Este domingo se transmiten los Golden Globes 2016 por TNT

Los Golden Globe Awards son de los más esperados de la "Temporada de Premios" de TNT, donde la Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood (HFPA) reconoce lo mejor del cine y la televisión.

Reconocidos como la antesala de los Premios Oscar, los reconocimientos a lo mejor del cine de los GG son de los más esperados. Este año, el musical La La Land encabeza la lista con siete nominaciones, seguida de los dramas Moonlight (6), Manchester By the Sea, Florence Foster Jenkins (4), Lion (4), Hacksaw Ridge (3), Hell or High Water (3) y Nocturnal Animals (3).

En el rubro Mejor Película Extranjera Divines y Elle, de Francia, junto con la coproducción con franco-iraní The Salesman, la chilena Neruda (Chile) y la alemana Toni Erdmann, son las nominadas.

En cuanto a televisión, más allá de Game of Thrones, este año aparecen Westworld, This Is Us, Stranger Things y The Crown. Con dos nominaciones aparece Mr. Robot (Space), además de American Crime, Outlander, Transparent, Veep, Better Call Saul, The Americans, Ray Donovan, Mozart In The Jungle, Black-ish y My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Meryl Streep será distinguida con el premio especial Cecil B. De Mille, que celebra a los talentos que consiguieron importantes logros en la industria del cine y la TV. La carrera de Streep se extiende por cuatro décadas, abarcando infinidad de temáticas y géneros.

Los Golden Globes 2016 se emitirán el domingo 8 de enero a las 6pm por TNT para toda la región.
