Se conocieron los nominados a los Oscar 2017

La La Land es la película con mayor cantidad de nominaciones (14), incluyendo los rubros Mejor Película, Mejor Director (Damien Chazelle), Mejor Actor (Ryan Gosling) y Mejor Actriz (Emma Stone), una cifra que iguala a las más nominadas de la historia del cine, All About Eve y Titanic.

En segundo lugar, aparece Arrival, con nueve nominaciones; seguida por Moonlight, con ocho; Hacksaw Ridge, con siete; Lion, con seis; Manchester by the Sea, con cinco; y Hell or High Water y Fences, ambas con cuatro; y Hidden Figures, con tres. Todas estas competirán en el rubro más importante, Mejor Película, que este año tendrá nueve candidatas.

En el rubro actuación masculina, Cassey Affleck (Manchester by the Sea), Andrew Garfield (Hacksaw Ridge), Ryan Gosling (La La Land), Viggo Mortensen (Captain Fantastic) y Denzel Washington (Fences) compiten por el rol protagónico. Mientras que Ruth Negga (Loving), Natalie Portman (Jackie), Isabelle Hupper (Elle), Emma Stone (La La Land) y Meryl Streep (Florence Fioster Jenkins) se disputarán la estatuilla a la mejor actriz protagónica.
