01-02-2017
The newly opened all3media International (UK) office in Singapore, launched during ATF 2016, continues to expand its regional sales operations with the appointment of Amreet Kaur Chahal as sales manager, Asia Pacific, who will report to Sabrina Duguet, EVP.

Her role encompasses representing the independent production and distribution company catalogue for formats and finished programming in South East Asia and India. She joins Kit Yow, who has been appointed to the position of sales manager Asia Pacific, responsible for northern Asia including China, Japan and Korea, and Alexander Euler as executive assistant to the regional management and sales team.

Chahal brings extensive experience in the content distribution to the Asian market to this newly-created position, having previously worked as sales executive at NBCUniversal International Television Distribution and as account executive at BBC Worldwide advertising sales.

With more than 15 years’ experience in the television industry, Yow was previously brand manager at 8TV, broadcaster of the leading Malaysia media group Media Prima, and has also produced and directed all genres of content, including current affairs, lifestyle, reality and live programming. Euler joins from FremantleMedia Asia’s regional management, where since 2013 he has worked as executive assistant as well as talent coordinator across pan regional productions including Asia’s Got Talent.

All3media International marked the opening of its Asia office at the recent ATF, hosting a packed event at Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen in Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands. The company also sponsored the inaugural ATF Formats Pitch, which was won by Singapore-based production company Xtreme Media. The winning format Hit It sees two teams competing against each other in a series of comedic challenges that put a hilarious, high-pressure spin on sports. Winning a prize worth S$20,000, Xtreme Media will be working with all3media International to develop Hit It for pitching to international broadcasters.

Duguet commented: ‘The growth of our Singapore team reflects the huge potential here for our outstanding portfolio. Kitchen Nightmares and Hotel Hell are proving to be very popular in the region, and are looking forward to working with Xtreme to launch their fantastic new format on the global stage in 2017’.

Chahal added: ‘Joining such a dynamic and forward-thinking global company is a great honour and I’m looking forward to working with the team to bring all3media’s international content to Asian broadcasters. Initiatives such as the ATF Formats Pitch underline the company’s strong ambitions for growth across this diverse and vibrant region’.
