Squeeze: Cracké arrives to Indonesia

06-02-2017
Squeeze announced that the Indonesian broadcaster Indosiar will soon be featuring the TV series Cracké in its programming. Under this agreement, the family TV series has the potential to reach close to 54 million viewers in Indonesia, and achieves more than 175 countries and territories.

Cracké is a very entertaining and funny short animation that really fits into our animation slot and will undoubtedly be loved by the children as well as the family’, says Lily Suhardiman, Head of international program acquisition, Indosiar.

‘It's exciting for the team to have our creation travel the world. We always want to see more and more kids having fun with our TV series. And with Indosiar broadcasting Cracké 13,000 kilometres away from here in Québec City, it's just an amazing feeling!’, adds Denis Doré, Squeeze's president and cofounder.

Cracké is a universal slapstick comedy series starring Ed, an anxious ostrich dad, and his beloved brood. With the good intention to protect his eight eggs, Ed will cause trouble and threats, never missing an opportunity to make things worse for himself. In Canada, the 52x'1 episodes are broadcast by Teletoon. The original property also comes to life through a mobile video game and an innovative comic book application - only available in Canada for now.

Cracké was produced in Canada in collaboration with Teletoon, the Canada Media Fund, the Quebec Refundable Tax Credit for Film and Television Production (managed by SODEC), the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit (CPTC) – CAVCO, the Bell Fund, and the National Bank. Cracké’s growth and commercialization plan is made possible with the financial support of Québec City’s economic development strategy.
