A+E Networks launches today, 15 February, its Crime + Investigation brand and titles on Hulu Japan, according to the announce of Edward Sabin, EMD, International, A+E Networks.

Further extending A+E Network’s partnership with Hulu in Japan, which debuted History in 2016, the launch brings CI’s content to Japanese viewers for the first time with such long-running series as The First 48 and global ratings winners 60 Days In and My Ghost Story. These series and other programs from the C+I library will be part of a progressive roll out.

‘We are thrilled to be building on our partnership with HJ Holdings following the successful launch of History in Japan’, said Sabin, and remarked: ‘Hulu is a proven platform that is ideal to attract a significant audience for CI’s rich library of ground-breaking programming that has resonated with tens of millions around the globe’.

‘We believe that the audience profile on Hulu in Japan is ideal to fuel the same deep interest in real life crime that creates a passionate C+I viewer. We anticipate success on Hulu and look forward to establishing a steady pipeline of quality content to the platform’, completed Sabin.

‘We look forward to providing the Crime + Investigation titles on Hulu for the first time in Japan by expanding our partnership with A+E Networks’, said Hiroyuki Oho, MD, HJ Holdings, LLC.
