UK: Channel 5 commissions Naked Entertainment’s 100% Hotter 2

24-10-2017
Naked Entertainment (UK) announced that its format 100% Hotter has been commissioned by Channel 5 for a second celebrity spin-off series. Following the success of the first series, which almost doubled the broadcaster’s primetime average among 16-34 year olds, the 4x60’ episodes will air in January 2018.

Celebrity 100% Hotter will see celebs known for their disastrous dress sense get a visit from the show’s expert makeover squad, who’ll be rummaging through their wardrobe to give them a radical style overhaul.  The public will also rate the celebrities on their sartorial savvy on a scale of one to ten. Shocked into realising they need a brand new look, the opinionated personalities will face the Hotspot where, with new clothes, make up, and hairstyles, they will be transformed from fashion car crashes into sizzling style smashes.

Simon Andreae, CEO of Naked Entertainment: ‘We’re delighted to welcome a new set of celebs to the Hotspot, where we anticipate the make-unders will be more dramatic than ever.  Expect tears of joy, gasps of delight, and if last season is anything to go by, probably a few tantrums as well.’
The greenlight for the new series follows the company’s third series commission win for the regular 100% Hotter (6x60’) format, which was announced in August as well as the brand new 100% Hotter Make Me Over (6x60') spin-off series ordered by 5STAR and due to air this October.

Celebrity 100% Hotter was commissioned by Sebastian Cardwell for 5STAR, who co-manages the channel with Gemma Hewlett, with Naked Entertainment’s Simon Andreae serving as Executive Producer and Rachel Viner as Series Editor.
