eOne: Saving Hope arrives to Latin America

This title will be exhibited at MIPCOM next week and cast members from the drama series will be there to help international promotion. ‘Latin America is an essential market for us’, says Valerie Cabrera, EVP eOne Television International. Claudia de Macedo, Head of Content Research & Acquisitions at Globosat confirmed the series will be aired at GNT, while Willard Tressel, general manager of OnDirecTV and DirecTV HD, in those channels. 

Season 1 of the drama recently concluded on a high note as the #1 Canadian drama of the 2011-12 broadcast year. The series also ranks as Canada’s #1 new summer series and a Top 3 summer series overall, with an impressive Season 1 average of 1.7 million viewers. In addition to Latin American, it was also sold to Zon (Portugal), D-Smart (Turkey), La7 (Italy), EUFORIA TV (Romania), Domashny (Russia) and Sony SET Channel (Africa).
