Gaumont International hires three new key executive

Gaumont International Television, the production and distribution studio based in Los Angeles and part of the European-based motion picture studio Gaumont, announced the appointment of three new key executives. The top tier hires include Carol Trussell, Head of Production, Adam Fishbach, SVP of Creative Affairs and Mary Carol Bulger, Director of Production Administration.

The announcement was made by Katie O’Connell, CEO for Gaumont International Television. All three executives will be based in Los Angeles.

Carol Trussell has had a successful career as a producer of television pilots and series. Some of the series Trussell has produced include Roswell, What About Brian and True Blood. Last year she produced Hannibal for Gaumont and NBC. Now as Head of Production for GIT, she will oversee both Hannibal for NBC and Hemlock Grove for Netflix.  Carol will also be responsible for overseeing production of the upcoming Gaumont series Barbarella that is set to start production in early 2014.

Adam Fishbach joins GIT from Chris Morgan Productions, where he served as VP. Besides working on several projects in active development on the feature side, he helped develop and sell four shows last season, including Gang Related at FBC and Big Thunder, which went to pilot at ABC. In his new position, he will be responsible for new series development at the company.

Before working with Chris Morgan, Fischbach served as an executive at Morgan Creek Productions where he worked on the Jim Sheridan film Dream House and also developed several projects for television. He began his career at CAA.

Having previously worked at Lux Pictures, WOW Entertainment, Shooting Star Pictures and Screen Capital International, Mary Carol Bulger most recently served as Production/Distribution Administrator at Exclusive Media Group. At GIT she will coordinate information and documents between the company’s productions, as well as numerous other responsibilities.
