Global Agency: good performance of Rise or Fall in Serbia
Global Agency announced that Rise or Fall, the singing format created by Constantin Entertainment, has reached high level of audiences trough the broadcaster PRVA in Serbia.On Saturday November 24, the second of the season's live episodes attracted 2.5 million viewers, giving it an audience share of 40%. In the target 18-49 demo, it scored a rating of 13.3%. Over the course of the season to date, Rise or Fall has tripled PRVA's average share.
The 17-part season averaged a 32.1% share, peaking with 36.8% of the audience, and more than doubling PRVA's channel average of 16%.
Global Agency, global distributor of the show, has already licensed an Arabic version in Egypt, where the show aired across the Middle East on Al Haya. The show quickly drew in millions of viewers across the region, with online access alone accounting for more than 1.4 million viewers. A second season has been commissioned to start in 2013. The format has also been optioned in China.
Rise or Fall is a high-octane primetime music format, in which singers aged 16-30 compete across a range of musical genres to win a recording contract and a nationwide tour. In a dramatic twist, the judges and viewers have the power to drop underperforming contestants through a trap-door on the stage, instantly ending their hopes of winning the competition.
