Impractical Jokers heads to Lithuania

Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP) has announced that its globally popular hidden camera prank format Impractical Jokers will be adapted in Lithuania, marking the show’s 14th international commission. The announcement comes as WBITVP kicks off its participation at NEM Dubrovnik.

TV3 Group Lithuania has ordered 24 half-hour episodes of the local version, with production set to begin later this year. The show will star four of the country's top comedy talents: Antanas Sadauskas, Markas Žukauskas, Simanas Žurauskas, and Viktoras Balykovas.

Originally created by the American comedy troupe The Tenderloins, Impractical Jokers has become a global phenomenon. The U.S. version has aired over 300 episodes across 11 seasons for truTV, alongside multiple specials. Adaptations of the format have already succeeded in the UK, Greece, Australia, and beyond.

Arvydas Rimas, Creative Director at TV3 Group Lithuania, added: ‘With four top comedians on board, we believe Impractical Jokers will quickly become essential viewing in Lithuania’.

The deal was brokered by Reema Patel, Director of Formats at WBITVP.
