ATF: SIC licensed “Blood Ties” to Cheers Media in Indonesia
SIC, the leading channel in Portugal is in Singapore exhibiting the best Portuguese drama series to the Asia Pacific market. This year is very special for SIC, as it has close its very first deal in the region: Cheers Media has picked up “Blood Ties” for Indonesia.
On air in more than 25 countries, the series is a coproduction between SIC and Globo TV in Brazil and has won an International Emmy Award in 2011 for “Best Telenovela”. Andre da Silva, sales executive, sealed an exclusive distribution agreement with Cheers Media (Hong Kong) to distribute Blood Ties in Indonesia.
In Singapore, the executive is also promoting two brand new dramas: Lucky Break and Nazaré. The first one is an audience and ratings leader in Portugal telling the story of a humble woman that suddenly wins the lottery, while the second one, currently on air, is about a girl that will make anything to save her mother's life.
