AgileTV and Ålcom partner to launch Play+ television service in the Nordics

AgileTV, a leading provider of cloud-based TV and media  technology solutions, continues its expansion in the Nordic region with its new TV service.  
The AgileTV Platform, commercialized locally under the name of Play+, has been developed  by AgileTV in collaboration with Ålands Telekommunikation Ab (Ålcom), a telecommunications provider in the Nordics, and combines live TV, streaming, and on demand content in a unified, cloud-based platform. The solution leverages AgileTV’s end to-end technology to deliver a scalable, efficient, and future-ready TV experience for  
operators and their customers.

The Play+ TV service rollout has been finalized recently and is being launched commercially  by several of Finland´s national fiber network operators.
