Bavaria, Germany: Isabelle Fedyk appointed to lead marketing and PR

03-08-2017
Bavaria Fernsehproduktion, one of the leading production houses in Germany, has appointed Isabelle Fedyk to lead marketing and PR for the company. In the newly created position as Head of Marketing and PR, she oversees national and international communications for the company's productions as well as its corporate activity.

‘Since its foundation ten years ago our production volume has been growing continuously. Establishing a dedicated marketing and PR function is an important strategic step in an increasingly fragmented broadcasting landscape and will be a key interface to our development and production departments. With Isabelle, we gain a highly experienced marketing professional and I look forward to working together with her’, says Jan S. Kaiser, MD.

Fedyk added: ‘Productions such as Sturm der Liebe, Die Rosenheim-Cops and Inga Lindström have been attracting millions of viewers for many years, while international co-productions Das Boot --produced with Sonar and Sky-- and Freud are increasing our global footprint’.

She joins the company from STUDIOCANAL, where, as VP Marketing & PR, she oversaw the marketing and PR operations of the company's TV department for two and a half years. She began her career at Red Arrow International, the international program distributor of ProSiebenSat.1 Media Group. For ten years, she was in charge of marketing and PR in various roles, the last being SVP Marketing & Publicity.

Based in Munich, Bavaria Fernsehproduktion is one of the largest German prodcos with a vast portfolio of fictional productions. Sturm der Liebe was sold to over 20 European countries, and it was the only non-English speaking production to be listed in the top 10 of the most successful worldwide serial formats in 2012.  It has subsidiaries in Cologne, Berlin and Stuttgart.
