Boat Rocker Studios signs US co-exclusive streaming deal for Orphan black

Boat Rocker Studios, the award-winning independent global entertainment company, has announced new U.S. deals for its groundbreaking original drama Orphan Black. All five seasons of the hit sci-fi series are now available to stream on HBO Max and Peacock in a co-exclusive deal.

The hour-long series (50 x 60’) stars Tatiana Maslany (Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed) in her Emmy-winning role as Sarah Manning, an outsider and street-smart chameleon who witnesses the suicide of a woman who looks just like her. After assuming the identity of the dead stranger, Sarah learns that she and the dead woman are clones – and that there are many other clones out there. Over the course of five seasons, Sarah and her clone sisters uncover the truth of their identities, why they were created, and fight to survive together.

Since its debut in 2013, Orphan Black has maintained a dedicated fanbase and is frequently ranked as one of the best sci-fi shows of the 21st century. It is the winner of numerous awards, including the 2014 Peabody Award for Drama.

Orphan Black was produced by Boat Rocker Studios, in association with BBC America and CTV Sci-Fi Channel. Boat Rocker Studios’ co-founders Ivan Schneeberg and David Fortier (Mix Tape) executive produced alongside series co-creators Graeme Manson (Snowpiercer) and John Fawcett (Memory of a Killer).

Boat Rocker Studios and BBC Studios jointly distribute the series in the US, with BBC Studios distributing internationally. Boat Rocker Studios manages the Orphan Black global franchise.
