Combining AIS PLAY’s local reach with FlareFlow’s global content library, the partnership gives Thai audiences access to thousands of international titles, fully localised for Thailand.IS Thailand and global microdrama powerhouse COL Group today announced the launch of COL’s flagship vertical entertainment platform, FlareFlow, will launch on AIS PLAY in Thailand on 2 November 2026, bringing Thai audiences a diverse slate of premium mobile-first entertainment from around the world.
Available for THB 39 per month, the FlareFlow subscription has been priced to make premium vertical entertainment accessible to a broad local audience. AIS PLAY customers will gain access to a dedicated FlareFlow-branded destination featuring curated English, Chinese and Korean titles, all localised with Thai subtitles.
The offering will span romance, drama, fantasy and reality entertainment, alongside selected LGBTQ+ titles, giving audiences access to a diverse mix of premium stories from around the world, created for mobile viewing.
Showcasing the breadth of FlareFlow’s global catalogue, the launch slate will feature the English language title From Janitor to Mrs Billionaire, Chinese-language title Rise of Aurora’s Fallen General and Korean Boys’ Love series My Team Leader Is Working Late Again. The slate will also include the vertical reality competition franchise SupermodelMe: Make It Or Break It, hosted by Thai television personality, actress and model Cindy Bishop.
FlareFlow is backed by COL Group’s extensive global content library and deep experience in vertical entertainment. As one of the pioneers of the microdrama industry in both China and the United States, COL Group has helped shape the category’s development, production and global expansion. This foundation supports FlareFlow’s growing catalogue of more than 5,000 series spanning multiple languages, genres and formats.
The partnership marks FlareFlow’s official entry into Thailand through one of the country’s leading digital entertainment platforms. It also strengthens AIS PLAY’s offering with a distinctive new category of premium, mobile-first entertainment created for the way audiences increasingly discover and watch stories.
The partnership was secured by ROCK Networks, FlareFlow’s exclusive telco and OTT integration partner across Asia. ROCK led the commercial negotiations with AIS and will manage the partnership on FlareFlow’s behalf, from integration and launch through to joint marketing.
The launch supports FlareFlow’s Vertical 2.0 strategy, which aims to take vertical entertainment beyond conventional microdramas through stronger productions, greater genre diversity and an expanding mix of formats, including drama, reality entertainment, documentary and other mobile first storytelling experiences.
'Thailand is one of Southeast Asia’s most creative, connected and culturally influential entertainment markets', said Timothy Oh, General Manager of COL Group International and Chief Marketing Officer of FlareFlow.
'Our launch with AIS PLAY is about making premium vertical entertainment accessible to more Thai audiences. At THB 39 per month, viewers will be able to discover thousands of mobile-first stories backed by the scale, content library and industry experience of COL Group'.
'It is also an opportunity to introduce Thai audiences to a broader range of stories, genres and creative perspectives from around the world, while building a foundation for future collaboration with Thailand’s creators, producers and entertainment industry'.
AIS and FlareFlow intend for the partnership to grow beyond content distribution. Both companies will explore future opportunities spanning Thai content development, creator collaboration, localisation and new mobile-first entertainment experiences for audiences in Thailand and across Southeast Asia.
'AIS PLAY is the right home for FlareFlow’s launch in Thailand', said Beatrice Lee, CEO of ROCK Networks. 'Our role is to match world-class content with the region’s leading telcos and platforms, and this partnership brings a global microdrama leader to one of Thailand’s largest customer bases.
