Deep Fusion Films, the production company and innovative technology specialist, has announced a strategic management partnership with ARC Partners.

Bi-coastal ARC Partners—led by founder and partner Collin Reno (New York) and co-founder and partner Ivo Fischer (Los Angeles)—provides management and advisory services to U.S. and U.K. studios, branded entertainment companies, production firms, and creative talent. Under the partnership, ARC and Deep Fusion will expand collaborative networks across the U.S., build strategic relationships with buyers and production partners, and further bolster Deep Fusion’s internationally recognised leadership in AI policy, ethics, and legislation.

Collin Reno, Founder & Partner at ARC Partners, said: 'Deep Fusion’s unique approach—where cutting-edge technology meets compelling storytelling, underpinned by a strong ethical commitment—really stood out to us', said Collin Reno, Founder & Partner at ARC Partners. 'Their blend of creativity and innovation aligns perfectly with our expertise in guiding clients through change and building strategic partnerships. Together, we’re focused on supporting Deep Fusion’s ambitious initiatives, unlocking new opportunities, and thoughtfully shaping the future of content in an evolving media landscape'.

Benjamin Field, co-founder and CEO of Deep Fusion, said: 'Deep Fusion has grown rapidly over the past few months and, as we enter this new frontier of media innovation, we need to work with people who see a different way of working within the traditional landscape — people who are not afraid to break with tradition to forge a new pathway. I’ve known Ivo for a couple of years and have huge respect for the way both he and Collin think. I’m genuinely excited to be partnering with ARC as we continue to build something meaningful at the intersection of media and responsible AI'.

Since its inception in 2023, Deep Fusion has authored several policy papers on AI, establishing itself as a key contributor to national and international governments, working groups and roundtable discussions. This work seeks to resolve the emerging ethical, legal and sustainability challenges around the use of AI with the objective of creating a fair and equitable environment for the application of the new technology. In addition, Deep Fusion is pushing the debate on the impact of generative AI (genAI) on the entertainment industry, interrogating its ethical grey areas and risk to IP, and warning against the temptation to sacrifice storytelling for speed. In what is believed to be an industry first, Deep Fusion’s genAI workflow has now been offered insurance, enabling its clients and partners to collaborate with the company knowing their risks are managed — ethically, creatively, legally and commercially.

Deep Fusion’s mission is to achieve strong, responsible growth in a sector increasingly impacted by both the reality of AI and anxiety about its impact on traditional business models by creating jobs, building capacity and placing talented people at the heart of technological change. Delivering on this ambition, the company launched Deep Fusion Technologies in May and announced its first product release, Verbl. An AI-supported transcription, translation and dubbing service, Verbl combines ethically driven and fully licensed machine efficiency with human oversight to ensure accuracy, cultural sensitivity and editorial integrity, enabling content to be easily monetised in global markets.

Obinna Emmanuel Obi-Akwari has been named as the new tech division’s UI/UX (user interfact/user experience) media and innovation lead. This follows the appointment in April of former ITV/BBC development executive Charissa Coulthard to the newly created role of development executive, charged with shaping the next generation of unscripted formats across the company’s digital-first and traditional broadcast slates.
