Disney + confirmed launch in Latin America on November 17
All original titles produced by and for Disney +, as well as complete collections of all available content from the five iconic brands of The Walt Disney Company in all formats (movies, series, shorts, shows and documentaries) will be exclusively on the platform which is launched for Latin America next November and has 60 million subscribers worldwide.Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic and their iconic content will be available from next November in Latin America in one place: Disney +, the studio's app that has already exceeded 60 million customers worldwide. Aimed at all family members, the OTT will arrive in the region one year after its launch in the USA, in November 2019.
Since its launch in Latin America, Disney + will be the exclusive destination for the most complete selection of films and series from the iconic labels, as well as exclusive original productions (with 19 Emmy Award nominations), thus becoming the only streaming platform where they are accessible all available movies from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.

In addition, it brings together all Disney animated classics, a robust offer of original Disney + series and films, a self-produced label, with a variety of titles that can be seen only on our platform, as well as original content produced locally in various countries in the region for the most diverse audiences. The best and most relevant of Disney will be unlimited and permanently only on Disney +'.
Some of the new exclusive content on the platform will be the Marvel Studios stories, which will arrive in simultaneous premiere with the USA, scheduled between 2020 and 2021: Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which brings together Sam Wilson / Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes / The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) after the events of Avengers: Endgame, who tests his skills and patience; WandaVision, a comedy series that combines the classic comedy style with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) are living an ideal suburban life until they begin to suspect that they are not everything is as it seems; and Loki a new series in which Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki and which also takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
The eight episodes that make up the first season of The Mandalorian, the epic live-action series in the Star Wars saga (15 Emmy nominations) and which features Jon Favreau as showrunner and Pedro Pascal as Mando. In turn, the second season will be released at the same time as in the USA. For fans of the brand, Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian arrives in November, a documentary series that explores the behind-the-scenes of The Mandalorian through interviews, exclusive images and panel discussions with those involved in the project. In addition, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the Emmy® award-winning animated series, returns for its epic conclusion on Disney +.
Films that The Walt Disney Studios has created exclusively for the platform, such as Lady and the Tramp, a live-action reversal of the 1955 animated classic; Noelle, an original Christmas comedy film starring Anna Kendrick; Togo, the adventurous true story set in the winter of 1925 in the dangerous wilderness of the Alaskan tundra, which will test the strength, courage and determination of one man, Leonhard Seppala (played by Willem Dafoe, nominee for the Oscar® four times) and Togo, the dog at the head of his sled.
Films such as Hamilton, which represents a leap forward in the art of recording feature-length live shows and will transport audiences to Broadway show business in a unique and intimate way with Thomas Kail's direction and Lin's production. -Manuel Miranda and Jeffrey Seller. Also High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, which follows the days of East High students preparing to present a musical.
