ElectricNOW announces major expansion with new streaming apps and first original scripted series

20-03-2026
The platform undergoes a complete upgrade featuring over 60 live channels and the premiere of the polyamory-themed comedy The Poly Couple

Electric Entertainment has announced a significant expansion of its free streaming service, ElectricNOW. The upgrade includes the launch of redesigned apps for mobile devices, web, tablets, Roku, FireTV, AppleTV, and smart televisions. The revamped service now hosts more than 60 free live FAST channels and an expanded library of premium content.

First original scripted series: "The Poly Couple"
To mark this new chapter, ElectricNOW will debut its first original scripted series, The Poly Couple, on April 16. The show offers a humorous perspective on the complexities of navigating relationships and intimacy within a polyamorous couple in Los Angeles.

Originally a viral hit on TikTok and YouTube with nearly 400,000 subscribers, the story created by Daniel and Dana caught the attention of Executive Producer Dean Devlin.

'When I first saw their short videos, I was blown away by the uniqueness of their story and the insightful comedic take," said Devlin. "It’s been a thrill working with Dana and Daniel bringing this project to life'.

The 9-episode series will launch its first three episodes on the app simultaneously with the platform's upgrade. The first two episodes will also stream on the ElectricNOW FAST channel that same day, with subsequent episodes dropping weekly.

Expanded content and features
Beyond the new original series, the remodeled ElectricNOW app will debut fresh seasons of fan-favorite Electric Entertainment shows throughout the year, including:

The Librarians: The Next Chapter (Season 1)

Leverage: Redemption (Season 3)

The Ark (Seasons 1 and 2)

The platform’s new LIVE Channels section features a curated selection of over 60 channels designed to cater to loyal fanbases seeking escapist entertainment and cult classics. Dean Devlin emphasized that the service remains committed to a "community-first" model: 'We built ElectricNOW to be a place for all of our fans to hang out together, no log-in or subscription required, and everything for FREE'.
