MADD sold four dramas to leading broadcasters in Romania

Family Secrets is one of Turkey’s hottest dramas of the season. Even after almost 30 episodes, it remains a perennial Top 5 show in the competitive ABC1+20 cohort. This Ay Yapim series (broadcast as Yargı on Kanal D) features Pınar Deniz (Wounded Love, Love 101) as Ceylin, a tough lawyer willing to bend the rules in the service of justice. Kaan Urgancıoğlu plays Ilgaz, a no-nonsense prosecutor who does everything by the book. The two of them mix like oil and water, but when Ilgaz’s brother is accused of murder, it’s Ceylin he goes to for help. Directed by Ali Bilgin  from an original story by Sema Ergenekon, the series takes Turkish drama in a bold new direction.  

All About Marriage is a popular series from MF Yapim that airs on Turkey’s FOX network under the title Evilik Hakkında Her Şey. The series is about a clan of high-powered divorce lawyers whose clients include billionaires, celebrities, and sometimes even themselves. It features a star-studded cast, including Gökçe Bahadır, Yiğit Kiraz, Sarp Akkaya, Sumru Yavrucuk, Gökçe Eyüboğlu (Woman), Erdal Küçükkömürcü, and Fırat Altunmeşe. This sophisticated family drama directed by Yusuf Pirhasan.

The Bad Penny is an ongoing crime series from Ay Yapim currently airing on Show TV under the title Üç Kuruş. In it, a serial killer stalks a Romani neighborhood, and a hardboiled police captain must team up with a Gypsy crime boss to bring the killer to justice. Along the way, the cop unexpectedly falls for the Mafiosi’s sister. This original series pairs two opposites in a sizzling exploration of law versus justice, featuring unforgettable performances by two of Turkey’s top leading men, Ekin Koç and Uraz Kaygilaroglu.

The Agency is Ay Yapim’s behind-the-scenes drama about a top talent agency serving Turkey’s biggest stars. Based on the international hit series Call My Agent from France 2, it premiered just over a year ago on Star TV. Each episode features cameos from real-life celebrity actors like Tuba Büyüküstün, who supplement an all-star ensemble cast of agents, rising stars, and wannabe celebrities in the dog-eat-dog of Turkish drama.  Series regulars include Barış Falay, Canan Ergüder, Fatih Artman and Denizcan Aktaş.
