Timothy Oh confirmed as keynote speaker for NEM Zagreb 2026
Timothy Oh, General Manager and Chief Marketing Officer at COL Group International, will take the stage in Zagreb for a dedicated keynote session, sharing his perspective on the developments influencing the international media business. His participation adds a global industry perspective to an agenda focused on the changing dynamics of television, streaming and the wider video market.
Five panel discussions address key industry developments
The announced panel discussions will address several questions currently facing broadcasters, content creators, advertisers and media companies.
One discussion will examine the commercial and cultural impact of content that audiences cannot seem to stop watching, even when their reactions are negative. Titled Fear of Missing Out, the session will consider the role of controversy, fear of missing out and online conversation in driving audience attention and content value.
The influence of personalised media consumption will take centre stage in Algorithms and Stories We Believe: Living in Your Feed. As recommendation systems shape individual viewing experiences, the panel will explore the implications for shared cultural experiences, the circulation of information and the stories audiences encounter.
Advertising innovation will be another major focus. The New TV Advertising Mix: Reach, Targeting and Results will look at the role of Addressable TV in an advertising landscape increasingly driven by targeting and performance expectations. The discussion will consider how the technology can complement television's reach, address implementation challenges and support wider adoption across CEE region.
The agenda will also examine the changing boundaries of the video business. In Video Industry 2.0: Who's Becoming What?, industry professionals will discuss how creators are moving into production, intellectual property ownership and format development, increasingly taking on roles traditionally associated with established media companies.
Looking beyond individual developments, The Year in Video: Looking Back, Moving Forward will review the trends that have influenced the industry in 2026 and consider what they could mean for the year ahead.
