Nippon TV delivered 13 anime titles to Netlix
The largest Japanese media company confirmed its biggest anime deal with the leading global streamer: 13 of Nippon TV's popular titles will be streamed in numerous countries around the world, starting with HUNTER X HUNTER and two other major titles in +100 countries since the next month.Having previously announced two prior deals with Netflix like Old Enough! streaming globally on Netflix in 190 countries and 30 of the company’s biggest drama series and entertainment shows airing on Netflix in its Asian countries, Nippon TV has partnered once again with the leading global streamer to license 13 of its most popular anime titles to stream non-exclusively around the world.
The first titles to start streaming on September 1st on Netflix are the ever-popular HUNTER X HUNTER’s (148x'30) first 38 episodes, slated to stream in 104 countries including Spain, Italy, Finland, Turkey, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates during the licensed period. Also streaming on September 1 are the beloved Ouran High School Host Club (26x'30) in 190 countries, and Claymore in 136 countries.
Along with them, the Japanese media powerhouse has sold Claymore (26x'30), DEATH NOTE (37x'30), DEATH NOTE: Relight 1 ('130) and DEATH NOTE: Relight 2 ('120) in 14 countries, From Me to You (25x'30), From Me to You S2 (13x'30); BERSERK (25x'30); Parasyte -the maxim (24x'30); NANA (47x'30); Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting! (76x'30); and MONSTER (74x'30).
