Nippon TV’s hit action-drama series High & Low to be adapted in Thailand by GMMTV and Parbdee Tawesuk

Nippon TV, Japan’s leading multiplatform entertainment powerhouse, announced that its hit action-drama series HiGH & LOW, originally produced by HI-AX — the joint production company between Nippon TV and LDH Japan — will be adapted in Thailand by GMMTV and Parbdee Tawesuk, two of the most prominent entertainment producers in Thailand. Marking the franchise’s first international expansion, the series is slated to air in 2027.

Originally launched in Japan on Nippon TV in 2015, HiGH & LOW is a high-energy action franchise known for its dynamic ensemble cast, intense choreography, and cinematic storytelling that fuses friendship, loyalty, and street battles with emotional drama. A gripping series about youths who rise-up to defend their convictions, the franchise has spawned multiple films, TV series, and live events, establishing a passionate fanbase across Asia.

To ensure the success of this ambitious mega-project in Thailand, the production unites 13 of Thailand’s most celebrated stars —who together boast a combined social media following of over 37 million— including NANON(Korapat Kirdpan), SKY(Wongravee Nateetorn), NANI(Hirunkit Changkham), and POND(Naravit Lertratkosum). Titled HiGH & LOW: BORN TO BE HIGH , the production carries forward the legacy of the original version that aired on Nippon TV, blending high-octane action with gripping human drama. At its core, the story follows young protagonists who rise to defend their beliefs, delivering a fresh, adrenaline-charged narrative for a new era. Combining a decade of world-building with GMMTV’s renowned casting and production expertise, this collaboration promises to elevate the series to an entirely new global stage.
