Sinking Ship Entertainment’s series make waves in Europe and Latin America
Phoenix Rise, school drama.Sinking Ship Entertainment (SSE), the international production and distribution company renowned for its award-winning children's programming, is thrilled to announce a series of exciting new sales across Europe and Latin America for its beloved math franchise Odd Squad, BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions’ school drama Phoenix Rise and the acclaimed animated series, Alma’s Way, from Fred Rogers Productionsand Pipeline Studios.
Canela Media has acquired Odd Squad and Alma’s Way for its free Spanish-language streaming platform service Canela.TV, across Latin America. Additionally, the new format and UK Filmed Odd Squad, will make its debut on ABC (Australia) and NRK in Norway following its global premiere on PBS KIDS, CBBC and TVOkids later this year. The new Odd Squad format is a co-production between Sinking Ship Entertainmentand BBC Kids and Family Productions.
Phoenix Rise follows the engaging journey of six misfits re-entering mainstream school to re-discover their potential and place in the world. The series makes its return to Yle in Finland with the recently released third and fourth season and will launch for the first time in Belgium on VRT Ketnet.
