TBS Holdings invests in Megalis, a global visual effects studio

THE SEVEN, a TBS subsidiary studio for global strategy, strengthens its VFX production capabilities and readiness to deliver content to global markets.

TBS Holdings, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takashi Sasaki), is  pleased to announce a significant capital investment in Megalis, Inc., a premier VFX production  company known for its global talent and cutting-edge technology. Established in 2017 and based  in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Megalis, Inc. is co-directed by CEOs Christophe Rodo and Jeffrey  Dillinger. The company has earned acclaim for its exceptional VFX work in movies and dramas,  cementing its status as one of the leaders in the industry. 

In a parallel development, TBS Group's pioneering studio for global strategy, THE SEVEN, Inc.,  (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President Tatsuo Sugai), has forged a strategic partnership  with Megalis. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in bolstering the company’s  production capabilities. 

These collaborations are pivotal to TBS Group's ambitious global strategy, as outlined in its long term vision, VISION 2030. By integrating Megalis's unparalleled expertise in VFX production  with its own diverse entertainment portfolio, it aims to enhance its content's appeal on the global  stage and expand its footprint.

Megalis: Global Talent and Technology 
A global VFX production house, Megalis is a team of exceptional VFX creators from around the  world. With offices in Tokyo and France, Megalis handles a broad spectrum of projects,  including visual effects for movies and dramas, as well as 3DCG animated features and series,  working with clients in Japan and around the world.
