TMG names Stefan Ladwig as new marketing director

Tele München Group (TMG) is reorganizing its product marketing with the aim of optimizing value creation in license trading and of generating added value across the life cycle of film and series productions. Stefan Ladwig will take up the newly created position of director of marketing as of October 1, 2016.

In this role, he will be responsible for reorganizing product marketing to span the entire company and all stages of exploitation. With this step, marketing for theatrical distribution, for home entertainment releases in German-speaking Europe and for B2B marketing in German-speaking and international markets will be brought together and operated under the same wing. Ladwig reports to Dr. Herbert G. Kloiber, the Founder and Managing Directors of TMG.
 
Ladwig most recently led the VOD Above-the-Line Marketing department for Amazon Prime Video in Germany and Austria as senior marketing manager. He was active for several years with ProSieben Gruppe, where his responsibilities included marketing activities for the TV station sixx and supervising the station launch of ProSieben MAXX as director of marketing.
 
Kloiber said: 'The pooling of all marketing activities is a key strategic goal of TMG. We will then be in a position to react to all market conditions in more flexible and innovative ways and to develop tailored and integrated marketing concepts for our films and series, making it possible for us to access the full potential of our first-class lineup. Ladwig concluded: 'TMG is in possession of a growing portfolio of attractive film and series content. After my positions in the areas of Free-TV and VOD, I am delighted that I will soon be directing the unified marketing of this content across all stages of the exploitation chain and, in doing so, arranging the department so that our products can be promoted using format-individual marketing concepts. These concepts will particularly focus on creating value within marketing by making use of possibilities for digitization'.
