27-07-2026
The Emmy Award-winning media post-production studio arrives at major international markets in Amsterdam and Cannes to celebrate a quarter-century of language adaptation solutions.

Language localization and media services company The Kitchen is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026, marking a quarter-century of helping international content reach global audiences. As part of its milestone year, the company—distinguished as the entertainment industry's only Emmy Award-winning language translation and dubbing studio—confirmed its participation in upcoming trade conventions at IBC in Amsterdam and MIPCOM in Cannes to expand its footprint across international distribution markets.

As the company marks a quarter-century of helping content creators, distributors, broadcasters, and streaming platforms reach audiences worldwide, The Kitchen's executive leadership team will be meeting with clients and partners at the industry's most influential international gatherings. Liz Clarke, Director of Global Sales, will represent The Kitchen at IBC, while President and CEO Ken Lorber; Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Deeny Kaplan;  Josh Pine, Senior Strategic Advisor; and Clarke will attend MIPCOM.

"For 25 years, The Kitchen has been dedicated to a simple but powerful mission: helping great content connect with audiences everywhere," said Ken Lorber, President and CEO of The Kitchen. 'As the media landscape continues to evolve globally, the need for high-quality localization, accessibility, and cultural adaptation has never been greater. We are proud of our history, grateful to our clients and partners, and excited about the future of international content distribution'.

The Kitchen's 25th anniversary comes at a time of unprecedented demand for multilingual content as streaming platforms and broadcasters expand their reach across international markets. From scripted and unscripted entertainment to children's programming, animation, feature films, documentaries, and FAST channels, The Kitchen continues to provide comprehensive language services that enable content to travel seamlessly across borders.

'MIPCOM has always been one of the most important events on our calendar', said Deeny Kaplan, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. 'For 25 years, it has provided an unmatched opportunity to strengthen relationships, discover new opportunities, and celebrate the global content business. The connections we make at MIPCOM and IBC continue to shape our growth and reinforce our commitment to serving the international media community'.

One of The Kitchen's most successful and enduring market initiatives remains MIP CLIPS, the multilingual promotional tool that allows distributors and rights holders to showcase content in multiple languages directly to international buyers.

Developed more than two decades ago, The Kitchen’s MIP CLIPS enables attendees to experience programming as local audiences would, creating an immediate and memorable connection with prospective buyers throughout the exhibition halls.

'Hearing content in your own language changes everything', said Liz Clarke, Director of Global Sales. 'While posters and brochures are important, localized content creates instant engagement. MIP CLIPS continues to be an invaluable sales and marketing asset for distributors seeking to maximize the impact of their content at international markets'.

Throughout IBC and MIPCOM, The Kitchen team will be available to discuss the company's full range of localization and accessibility services, including translation, adaptation, dubbing, subtitling, closed captioning, audio description, M&E recreation, and multilingual content preparation for every genre and platform.

The Kitchen is also proud to maintain its TPN Gold Shield certification, demonstrating the highest standards of content security and protection for media assets entrusted by clients worldwide.

As The Kitchen celebrates its 25th anniversary, the company remains focused on innovation, quality, and client service while continuing to help content cross borders and connect with audiences in every market around the world.
