The Kitchen to provide MIP CLIPS at MIPCOM 2026

The localized short excerpts serve as a tactical sales tool on the Palais des Festivals floor by showcasing new IP dubs in multiple languages.

Localization studio The Kitchen has confirmed the continuation of its "MIP CLIPS" service for international distributors attending the upcoming MIPCOM 2026 market in Cannes. For over two decades, the company has produced short, multi-language dubbed and subtitled excerpts of new intellectual properties, allowing sales executives to present animation, telenovelas, and drama series directly in the native languages of prospective buyers on the exhibition floor.

According to Liz Clarke, Director of Global Sales for The Kitchen, the strategic use of localized audio content serves as a high-impact traffic driver amid the dense layout of the Palais des Festivals. Clarke noted that while traditional marketing collateral like brochures and posters provide visual presence, auditory recognition of regional languages—including Bulgarian, Hebrew, and Estonian—consistently increases immediate buyer engagement and subsequent sales inquiries. The studio reports an annual increase in demand for diverse language options as companies look to replace or complement standard booth decorations with tailored audio-visual assets.
