The legacy lives on: Encantadia chronicles: Sang’gre

Two decades after captivating audiences with magic, love, and power, GMA Network brings back one of Philippine fantasy’s most beloved franchises with Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre, premiering June 16.

The series introduces Bianca Umali as Terra, the Earth Gem keeper and daughter of Danaya. Raised in the human world, she becomes a superhero known as “Sang’gre.” As destiny calls, she is joined by fellow warriors Flamarra (Faith da Silva), Deia (Angel Guardian), and Adamus (Kelvin Miranda) to defend Encantadia against a new threat—Mitena, the Ice Princess, played by Rhian Ramos.

The saga deepens with the return of the original 2016 stars: Glaiza de Castro as Pirena, Kylie Padilla, Sanya Lopez, and Gabbi Garcia, reigniting nostalgia and continuity. The human world also plays a role, with performances from Manilyn Reynes, Ricky Davao, Benjie Paras, and many more.

With an expanded universe, Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre promises rich visuals and deeper themes of family, courage, and legacy.

Produced by GMA Entertainment Group and led by a powerhouse creative team including Aloy Adlawan, Ricky Lee, and Suzette Doctolero, the series is directed by Rico Gutierrez and Enzo Williams.
