Tribeca Lisboa returns with star power and global stories
Kim Cattrall, Meg Ryan, and Portuguese Premiere of “Honeyjoon” Highlight 2025 EditionTribeca Festival Lisboa is back, unveiling a bold first look at its 2025 lineup. From October 30 to November 1, the second edition of the festival will once again transform Unicorn Factory Lisboa into a global creative hub, with expanded programming and star-studded appearances.
Among the highlights are special events with Hollywood icons Kim Cattrall, Giancarlo Esposito, and Meg Ryan. The festival will also host the Portuguese premiere of Honeyjoon, winner of the 2024 Tribeca Festival AT&T Untold Stories award. Directed by Lilian T. Mehrel and produced by Andreia Nunes, the film features Ayden Mayeri, Amira Casar, and acclaimed Portuguese actor José Condessa.
Jane Rosenthal, Tribeca co-founder and CEO, said: ‘This year’s programming reflects the spirit of discovery and cultural exchange that defines Tribeca’.
The 2025 edition spans three days and expands into new venues including Teatro Ibérico and Convento do Beato. With affordable pricing and partnerships with creative schools like Escola 42 and TUMO, Tribeca Lisboa deepens its ties with the local community.
