Arafta: GoQuest Media teams up with Rains Pictures

On the heels of the phenomenal success of Kuma (The Other Wife), GoQuest Media has officially greenlit its next premium Turkish production: Arafta, in partnership with acclaimed studio Rains Pictures.

Arafta unites two powerhouse creative forces, GoQuest Media, behind Kuma, and Rains Pictures, producers of Rüzgarlı Tepe (Winds of Love) and Kan Çiçekleri (Vendetta), to deliver one of the year’s most anticipated Turkish dramas. At the core of this sweeping tale lies a generational saga of romance and revenge, where loyalty, betrayal, and destiny clash in an unforgettable narrative.

Derived from the Turkish term Araf, symbolizing a dramatic crossroads, Arafta explores characters trapped between love and vengeance, fate and desire. The series stars İlsu Demirci as Mercan, a woman torn between survival and passion, and Emin Günenç as Ateş, whose intensity adds depth to their turbulent journey of betrayal and redemption.

Vivek Lath, Managing Director at GoQuest Media, noted the production builds on the global triumphs of Kuma, Kan Çiçekleri, and Rüzgarlı Tepe. Meanwhile, Sevda Kaygısız of Rains Pictures emphasized the show’s ambition to resonate with both Turkish and international audiences.
