Beauty Empire: new revenge series from GMA, CreaZion and Viu

A new collaboration between three entertainment giants is set to captivate Filipino and global audiences. GMA Network, international production house CreaZion Studios and streaming platform Viu Philippines officially announced their partnership to co-produce the revenge drama series Beauty Empire.

The signing of the deal took place last 17 March at the GMA Network studios in the presence of top executives from the three companies. Among them were attorney Annette Gozon-Valdes, President and CEO of GMA Films; Anter ‘RJ’ San Agustin and Real Florido of CreaZion Studios; and Vinchi Sy-Quia and Garlic Garcia of Viu Philippines.

During the event, Gozon-Valdes expressed her enthusiasm for the project: ‘I am very happy that our partners, Viu and CreaZion, are joining GMA in this very special project. “Beauty Empire” will show, in a modern way, how millions of Filipinos strive for progress and success for their families’.

The series, created by award-winning filmmaker Real Florido and screenwriter Rona Co, promises to be a bold, contemporary look at beauty standards in the Philippines. Set in the competitive cosmetics industry, Beauty Empire explores themes of ambition, power and revenge among strong women fighting for dominance in a world where image is everything.

Produced by GMA Public Affairs from CreaZion Studios original concept, the series stars big names like Barbie Forteza, Kyline Alcantara, Ruffa Gutierrez, Gloria Diaz, Sam Concepcion, Choi Bo Min, Chai Fonacier and Sid Lucero.

On Viu Philippine’s part, this project reinforces its commitment to bring high quality Filipino content to digital audiences worldwide. The cast, creative team and management of the three entities participated in the signing of the contract, cementing a partnership that promises powerful and visually stunning storytelling.

Beauty Empire is currently in production and will premiere first on Viu, followed by broadcast on GMA Network.
