Nice to Not Meet You reaches TOP 5 in Prime Video’s Global TV show category

Leading entertainment company CJ ENM’s recent TV series, “Nice to Not Meet You,” starring Lee Jung-jae and Lim Ji-yeon, set a new record with its eye-catching narrative development.

The show’s local performance also seems solid. Based on Nielsen Korea, the very first episode of Nice to Not Meet You ranked in 1st place among the MON-TUE time slot TV series (nationwide household average: 5.5% / peak: 6.5%), drawing a massive amount of attention from the public.

Produced by Korea’s leading scripted TV studio, Studio Dragon, Nice to Not Meet You follows the love-and-hate warfare story between Lim Hyeon-jun (performed by Lee Jung-jae), a top-notch actor fed up with starring in the same show for years, and a political journalist, Wi Jeong-sin (performed by Lim Ji-yeon), who lands in the entertainment industry with no background knowledge but full of bravery.

The show has been receiving a tremendous amount of attention since day one, with its star-studded cast and the collaboration between the K-drama masterminds, producer Kim Ga-ram (Nevertheless, (2021), Good Partner (2024)) and writer Jung Yeo-rang (Doctor Cha (2023)).
